Classmate, musical colleague and friend Jarrod Lawson was recently mentioned by Michelle Obama alongside Beyoncé and Jon Batiste as one of the artists she is currently listening to in a televised interview with Entertainment Weekly. (https://ew.com/books/michelle-obama-pop-culture-faves-new-book/)

Kit has known and worked with Jarrod since their days together at Clackamas Community College, the band Intervision, and touring the country together.

Jarrod was also featured on a track with Kit’s band Intervision called “Jungle Jim”, see below for a photo and video.
