Career highlights include:
• 2021 - colleague and featured artist on Kit’s album “Love + Pain” Jimmie Herrod made it to the final round of NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent”, ultimately finishing sixth, but boosting both Kit’s popularity and that of the single “Lately”, on which Herrod was featured.
• 2020 - after covering the BBMAK hit “Back Here” on piano, the group contacted Kit and he and lead singer Mark Barry proceeded to do a series of 16 “Lockdown Lounge” duet sessions… ranging from Stevie Wonder, to Shawn Mendes and George Michael.
• 2018 - released his debut pop album “Love + Pain” to critical acclaim. Songs off that album have won five of Kit’s 12 songwriting awards.
• 2003 - co-founded the soul/pop group Intervision. The band is still together, and has the received national recognition; releasing three critically acclaimed albums, performing for sold-out theaters on multiple occasions, sharing the stage with various platinum-selling acts including The Neville Brothers and Lifehouse, and gracing the cover of ‘The Oregonian’ in 2007.
• along with his 12 songwriting awards, has worked with Bernie Grundman, Jennifer Batten (guitar, Michael Jackson), Judy Stakee (former VP, Warner Music Publishing), Jon Asher (songwriter, Britney Spears), Craig Carothers (songwriter, Trisha Yearwood), Marv Ross (songwriter, “Harden My Heart”), Cliff Goldmacher (Grammy w/ Keb’ Mo’), and Kevin Killen (5x Grammy-winning engineer/producer).
